The diet is controlled due to a number of different reasons and this is one of the very common issues of the world health regulation. This is because the dieting if done too unrealistically can also lead to sever problems.

Dieting usually is done because of certain health problems, for example he patients of certain diseases or even those who are under the hospital supervision, need to control their diet according the instructions and what their body can cope up with. For example the heart patients are asked to control their diet immensely specially on the intake of the fats and heavy levels of high nutritional value products. On the other hand, the kidney patients are asked to include lots of water in their diet so as to improve the kidney functions.

However the most common dieting reason is to lose weight because of somebody considering themselves overweight. There can now be two categories in this type of dieting. There are certain people who really need to do the required dieting to lose weight so that their body weight is under normal circumstances, this is also very important for the healthy living. There is also a certain class of people who are beauty conscious and want to lose weight unrealistically. This is a big issue which leads to the conditions such as anorexia in specially the young adults who do dieting to lose weight excessively without any such important reason.

The other reasons of dieting include the athletes physically demanding activities, which require a certain type of toned up body, which is achieved through a special type of dieting that involves the food materials with high nutritional values.
