With the increase in the craze of losing weight and looking smart amongst the teenagers these days there is the introduction of the diet pills in the market which help the people to lose weight more rapidly and with much better results.

The diet pills are very convenient to use, however there are certain guidelines that are to be followed and be careful about while using the diet pills. The diet pill should not be crushed in the first place before use, and it should be taken with a full glass of water. The diet pills have a diuretic effect, this means that the urination is more frequently done while using the diet pill. There can then be an extreme case of dehydration in the individuals taking the pill, therefore a minimum of 8 to 10 glasses of water is a must for the people taking diet pills. Some people are of the opinion that taking a higher dose than recommended will bring about the results much quicker. This is a completely wrong perception because it instead makes the person more prone to the side effects and keeps the health at risk; therefore care should be taken that only the prescribed dose should be taken.

During the use of the pills the heartbeat must be constantly monitored and if it reaches above 90 beats per minute, the intake of the pills should be immediately stopped. One of the very important things to be careful of is that after the period of 3 months the diet pills should be disposed off and not used again because there is a special ingredient which expires after 16 weeks and can be dangerous.

People generally go on taking the diet pills according to the instructions on the box, but care should be taken that the doctor should be consulted in all conditions because generally the diet pills also require a proper diet plan.
