The number of cautious remarks about diets is almost equal to the number of diets themselves. An important fact that most people forget is that losing weight entails habits that you have to learn. They lived on fruits and vegetables that are all very high in fiber, some nuts, and very lean meat from animals caught during the hunt and seafood. This is what our digestive diets are programmed to digest through eons of evolution. This is what we're supposed to eat. Most popular diets entail starvation of one kind or another. You are also discouraged from enjoying foods that you love. This diet, however, espouses different principles. Yes, you can have your favorite foods in large amounts, and still get that ideal weight. Low fat and high fiber content is the main idea behind this diet. Other diets may leave you lacking in nutrition, but this diet will ensure your good health and keep those pounds off permanently. Focus on exercising daily and a diet based on fresh, unprocessed foods like vegetables, fruits, whole grains, lean meat, and seafood that has a rich deposit of omega 3s. Within a month, your cholesterol will be brought down. Heart problems like hypertension will be eliminated. Diabetics may dispose of their medications. Furthermore, your energy levels will be through the roof. Your health will improve dramatically when you eat the food your body is designed to recognize and digest. You must makes these a part of your diet: many servings of whole grains, beans, peas, and vegetables high in starch. If you do not enjoy eating your leafy green vegetables, start now. You can have them cooked or raw. Eat at least four servings of fresh fruits. If you have to eat dairy products, stay on skimmed milk and non-fat cheese. And remember this, meat lovers: Eat only 100 grams of lean meat in a day. Take note of this hierarchy: poultry is better than meat, and seafood is better than poultry. For best results, have chicken or other poultry products only once a week, and red meat should be limited to once a month. For vegetarians, you can get your essential proteins from peas, lentils, or beans. Do not indulge yourself with fried foods, cakes, and chocolates. Shun fat in meats, and likewise avoid processed meats. Drink plenty of water, at least 6 glasses a day. If you must drink coffee or alcohol, moderate it. Do not make animal fats a part of your diet. Also, keep away from pickled, smoked, and salty foods. The right combination of foods and proper exercise will work its magic with your weight loss plans, and your overall health. |
